Outdoor Research in the Owyhee Foothills

  • Our YoteFam doesn't just get the job done on campus — students regularly find themselves in the field working on various research projects! Check out this gallery from a recent trip to the Owyhee Foothills near Reynolds Creek, where some of our environmental science students examined soil and plant samples!

  • A group of C of I students spent their Fall Break volunteering their time to help with the Idaho Veterans Garden! The Idaho Press-Tribune covered the story here! Way to go, YoteFam!

  • In their highest scoring home game since 1971, our football team smashed the Montana Western Bulldogs with a score of 59-27! The Yotes made the most of their return to Simplot Stadium, picking up 638 yards of total offense and limiting the Bulldogs’ offense to only six points in the second half. The impressive victory earned Frontier Conference and NAIA National Player of the Week honors for three players — Darius-James Peterson as Offensive Player of the Week, Kyle Mitchell as Special Teams Player of the Week, and Trevor Henderson as Defensive Player of the Week. Check out a photo gallery of the game here!
